VibroCut oscillate

Our innovative VibroCut oscillate tool holders set the tool in a defined oscillating motion.

Oscillation support with innovative tool holders

The VibroCut oscillate tool holders support turning processes with an oscillating movement and thus ensure reliable chip breaking behavior. The tool holder is attached to the driven position of turret lathes and converts the rotary motion into the oscillating motion of the tool cutting edge using a mechanical system. The innovative design ensures unique performance parameters and an adjustable oscillation width as well as high rigidity and zero backlash thanks to a specific bearing.

The VibroCut oscillate tool holders can support all common turning operations. They are available in various sizes, oscillation directions and tool arrangements. The modular design also ensures compatibility with various turret interfaces.

Flexibility in tool and turret interface

VibroCut oscillate offers a high degree of flexibility for tool selection as well as fast and precise tool changes due to the integrated Capto or PSC interface. Various tool heads and technologies can be implemented via the standardized interface.

The turret interface is designed for easy integration and its modular structure enables retrofitting for different machine types. Standardized machine interfaces such as VDI or BMT as well as flexible coupling systems ensure a high level of compatibility with the respective lathe, whereby customer-specific solutions can also be implemented.

VibroCut oscillate tool holders are available in various directions of movement to implement different technologies such as longitudinal and face turning as well as axial and radial grooving or compatibility with different machine concepts:

  • T-Line: Orthogonal oscillation direction to the drive axis
  • L-Line: Lateral oscillation direction to the drive axis

It is also possible to attach the tool interface to the front or top of the tool holder.
